Recent team changes at Catch A Fire.

As a team, Catch A Fire is only as strong as its people. We’ve made some exciting moves already this year to reward and recognise the incredible talent we have and the great work being delivered. Take a look:

by Ben May | People & Culture | 17 February 2023

Alex McDowell – Promoted to Senior Motion Graphics Designer

Alex has been with the agency since 2021 and is a vital part of our growing design team, helping deliver motion graphic work for our clients.

“With a determined mindset and brilliant willingness to learn, Alex has really grown into her role since joining us. She has been making big strides forward both technically and through her leadership and presence in the team. In 2023 Alex is now successfully growing the team by hiring a junior Motion Graphic designer in early January. We all look forward to seeing what comes next from this team.” – Kamran Akram, Design Director

Hannah Weale – Appointed Project Delivery Director

Joining the agency in its early days, Hannah helped push it forward to where it is today. She is a pivotal part of its success today. Her new role leading the project delivery team will allow us to continue and excel at delivering top-quality work

“Hannah has played a leading role in driving project delivery and planning to our clients. Now starting to shape how we develop this function more formally at Catch A Fire. A final thanks to Clair Ashdown and Siobhan Rae for their efforts supporting this function to date.” – Toby Barty, Founder & Managing Director

Charly Pope – Promoted to Social Media Director

This a well-deserved promotion for Charly, who is in her second year at Catch A Fire and has been taking the agency’s digital offering from strength to strength.

“Charly has been with us for nearly two years and has had an incredible impact on how we develop our social media and digital offer as a team. Working from great foundations and building a talented team around her. This approach is helping develop our credibility with clients such as Penfolds and Unilever.” Craig Roderick, Founder & Executive Creative Director

Hannah Bryant – Promoted to Social Media & Content Executive

This promotion recognises Hannah’s fantastic progress in her first year. She is a rising star within the agency and is already responsible for launching the Catch A Fire TikTok account and Social Team Newsletter. Take a look at Hannah’s A Day In The Life Of A Junior Social Media Executive, an insight into the work Hannah is involved with every day.

“Over the year, Hannah has begun to own relationships with her accounts, such as Toast’d and Finest cakes. All while onboarding our newest client JimJams. Hannah has also been instrumental in developing our content hub offer to clients to help create quick, agile, yet engaging content.” Charly Pope, Social Media Director
